Steve came to the house to estimate what size truck was needed and Tara was very responsive in setting up a date. Movers came on time and were quick, efficient and very careful in packing and covering the furniture and loading and unloading all of it. I would recommend this company to whoever is planning a move. Ours was local but I’m sure they’re just as efficient on long distance trips as well.

In April 2026, I, started planning a cross-country move from New Jersey to Texas and contacted several moving companies to compare costs. Like many people, I, was trying to make the most affordable decision. Sett Movers provided a competitive quote, but, I, ultimately chose a container service because it initially appeared cheaper-something I know regret. Tara from Sett movers stayed in touch and was incredibly helpful. She explained that they also offer container services, and after speaking with her, I decided to hire Sett movers for the loading portion instead of a cheaper company. That decision turned out to be one of the best I made during this move. When moving day came, the container service had advised me that a single 16-foot container would be enough for my two-bedroom home. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I quickly found myself in a stressful situation needing an additional container, rescheduling service, and facing unexpected costs. Throughout all of this, the team from Sett Movers was outstanding. They arrived early, worked efficiently, and were extremely professional. When things did not go as planned due to the container issues, Tara went above and beyond to help me navigate the situation. She communicated every step of the way and did everything she could to accommodate my tight timeline-even arranging for her crew to return on a Saturday afternoon finish the job. This crew-Chris, Mike , AJ, Rob Jr., and the rest of the team-were incredible. They worked tirelessly, stayed late, and handled my belongings with care and professionalism. Their work ethic and dedication truly stood out during an otherwise stressful experience. Unfortunately, the container service ended up costing far more than expected due to hidden fees and poor guidance. What initially seemed like the cheaper option turned into a much more expensive and stressful process. Looking back, I, wish I had trusted Sett Movers with the entire move from the start. Their transparency, reliability , communication, and professionalism are unmatched. They truly care about their customers and take pride in their work. If you are planning a move, take my advice-go with a reputable moving company like Sett movers. It will save you time, money, and a lot of stress. Excellent service, fast and reasonably priced! Also, Paul, Tim and Castro were great, they were exceptionally courteous and very careful with each item. A very professional, polished team.
